The Hoocard
hoocard/alexmorgan

Hoocard is an independent networking card for students. An NFC card opens your professional profile on a compatible phone, so you can share your contact details and links. Create your personalized site and manage it from My Hoocard. The landing-page tap animation uses an example profile; paid checkout is not open yet; holders of a valid temporary promo code can place a complimentary pickup order.
No app is needed to receive an NFC website link. On a compatible phone, unlock the screen, hold the card near the NFC reader, and open the notification. Internet access is needed to load the page.
The tap experience is intended for NFC-capable iPhones and Android phones. Reader position and settings vary by device. Some phones require NFC to be enabled. Compatibility with the final card hardware will be confirmed before orders open.
The same personalized Hoocard in matte black, front and back. Nothing is printed on either side: no name, logo, text, or NFC symbol. The NFC chip inside opens your personal site. Blackout introductory prices are $2.99, $6.99, and $9.99 for 1, 3, and 5 cards. Classic prices are $4.99, $9.99, and $14.99.
No. Bundles contain identical copies for one person: the same name, graduation year, finish, and profile link. Choose Classic or Blackout for the entire bundle. Separate designs require separate purchases.
The one-time Classic prices are $4.99 / $9.99 / $14.99 for 1 / 3 / 5 cards. Blackout introductory prices are $2.99 / $6.99 / $9.99. No subscription is offered in this preview. You can create and edit your site in this preview. Final service and fulfillment terms will be confirmed before physical card sales open.
Paid checkout is not yet open. If you have a valid temporary promo code, sign in, customize your card, choose a pickup location, and enter the code on the review step to place a complimentary order and publish your page. One promo order per account. Pickup only; no delivery.
A shared web profile can be viewed by anyone who has its link. Only add details you want to share professionally. Only a profile you explicitly publish is available at its link. You can edit or unpublish it from My Hoocard. Access to this private preview is still restricted by the site’s sharing settings.
Open Sign in, sign in with the account that owns your profile, and upload a new PDF résumé. Save your changes. Your existing profile link stays the same, so your card never needs to be reprinted to update your résumé.
No. Hoocard is an independent concept and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the University of Virginia. Classic features an architectural illustration and your UVA graduation year. These details do not indicate University approval or affiliation. Employer logos illustrate potential networking destinations, not partnerships.
